The Feetech SM-120B-C001 is an industrial-grade smart bus servo actuator designed for networked motion-control systems requiring high torque, closed-loop feedback, and dependable long-duty operation. Operating at 24 V and delivering up to 120 kg·cm of stall torque, this servo is optimised for robotics, automation equipment, and precision industrial machinery.
Unlike conventional PWM servos, the SM-120B-C001 communicates via RS485 serial bus, enabling multiple servos to operate on a single network with addressable control and real-time feedback. A 12-bit high-precision magnetic encoder ensures accurate position sensing, supporting 0–360° programmable angle control and multi-turn continuous-rotation modes.
Feetech’s self-developed RS485 control board enables advanced motion features including one-key centre calibration, programmable acceleration and deceleration, soft start/stop, and full telemetry reporting. The servo provides real-time feedback of position, speed, voltage, current, temperature, and load, enabling over-current and overload protection for enhanced system safety.
Constructed with a brushless motor, steel gearbox, and all-aluminium housing, the SM-120B-C001 is well suited for robot arms, humanoid robots, industrial manipulators, AGVs/AMRs, research platforms, and custom automation systems where performance, reliability, and system integration are critical.
