The Feetech SM-8512-C001 is a 12-volt industrial smart bus servo actuator designed for RS485 serial communication systems where precise motion control, intelligent feedback, and compact form factor are required. Delivering up to 85 kg·cm of stall torque, this servo is ideal for robotics platforms, automated mechanisms, research equipment, and industrial systems operating on 12V power architectures.

Unlike conventional PWM servos, the SM-8512-C001 communicates via RS485 serial bus, enabling addressable multi-servo networking with real-time telemetry feedback. A 12-bit high-precision magnetic encoder ensures accurate position sensing, supporting 0–360° programmable angle control as well as multi-turn continuous operation modes.

Feetech’s self-developed RS485 control board enables advanced motion behaviour such as one-key centre calibration, programmable acceleration and deceleration, soft start and soft stop, and continuous monitoring of position, speed, voltage, current, temperature, and load. Integrated protection mechanisms allow over-current and overload protection, ensuring safe and stable operation in demanding environments.
